• Nurturing entrepreneurs becomes an important task of government, society and educational institutions. Understanding the art and practice of entrepreneurship facilitates the process of inculcation and development of entrepreneurial qualities among students, young managers and executives.

• The course outline is given here ; there are six sessions. The course takes you through creating idea to execution and pitching to funders.

• Introduction to Entrepreneurship-categories, Definition,Characterstics of entrepreneur.Entrepreneurship process; Ideation process.Creative process; creativity and innovation. Business Model Generation techniques to translate idea to execution.Lean Startup methodology to validate idea cost effective and minimize risks.Basics of finance to facilitate taking financial decisions in the early stages of a new venture and understand the process of raising capital and how to speak to investors

• Business Model Canvas and Lean Startup methodology sessions are based on the Books ' business Model Generation" by Alexander Osterwarld and " Lean Start up' by Eric Reis.

• Activities are suggested at the end of each session for the learners to practice application of concepts learnt.
