Modern Calligraphy class using digital HW (tablets or touchscreens): from zero to full-piece-of-art

In this class, we will learn how to bring the ancient art of calligraphy into modern world of tablets and touchscreens, using Inkscape as SW (free-SW available online). This means realizing beautiful calligraphy art using stylus pen (aka: pen for tablets/touchscreens) and a tablet/touchscreen.

At the end of the course, you will be able to make your own calligraphy art. This will enable you to make use of it for any special event in your life (birthday of friends/family members, wedding, special occasions,...)

The course is structured as a journey. We will start from the basic fundamentals of calligraphy, building it up in a step-by-step approach in:

1. making strokes

2. making letters

3. making words

4. making sentences

All of these using Inkscape (including tips/tricks on how to use Inkscape to realize your piece of art)

The course includes and extensive Booklet containing:

• all golden rules of calligraphy

• all golden guidelines of modern calligraphy

• examples for strokes / letters / words

• a detailed alphabet
