Email marketing made easy
If you sell a product or offer a service, you should also have a mailing list. It’s the best way to get information out to your audience, share offers, and turn enthusiastic fans into paying customers. People who have signed up for your newsletter are already interested in what you have to say and are much more likely to pay attention to what you have to offer than if they stumble across an ad on social media.
Once you start collecting email addresses, you’ll want to sign up for a newsletter service that can send customized emails to multiple people at a time.
In “Mailerlite for Beginners,” you’ll learn all about one of the simpler newsletter services, Mailerlite. Your instructor, Barb Drozdowich, will walk you through the steps from how to navigate the dashboard, how to create a campaign (a newsletter), how to create signup forms, and more.
Barb is an author and consultant who has been teaching for more than two decades and is an expert at explaining technology in easy-to-understand language. She has published 18 books, runs 8 websites, and has more than 50 videos on YouTube.
When you sign up, you’ll have immediate access to 19 videos that cover everything you need to know to get started, such as:
The legalities you need to know about (opt-ins and opt-outs, what the GDPR is and what it means for you)
How to set up your account
Managing your subscribers
How to create a campaign and send out a newsletter
How to run reports to see what percentage of people are opening your emails and clicking on the links within your newsletters
You’ll also get plenty of resources for more information and support once the course is over.
Learning something new can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Sign up and start connecting with your potential customers today!

I've awarded 2.5 stars. I have used Udemy before and was hoping this would be a more rewarding experience. I will probably be watching videos provided by the Mailerlite company as training resources, as the delivery, though reasonable, was not as good as it could have been in order to provide what the title of the course suggests - Mailerlite for beginners, mainly for the reasons stated which follow. Udemy should be making sure that information given is up to date with the Mailerlite website, but, having created a Mailerlite account as directed so that I could follow along with the delivery, I found it to be confusing and frustrating as the screens, on the course and on the site itself did not match. It was like getting instructions for building a jigsaw but the picture with the instructions is different from the one you are to build. Even if all pieces were present, the colours were not the same and they were not in the right places. The screen on the course was very different from the one showing when I logged on to my account. The headings were different. The information was not always found in the same places as per the slides; this would not aid any learner and not helpful at all, particularly when it's for a beginners course. I persisted but only as I like to finish what I've started. It has given me more work to do as I had to search out what was being talked about by checking out what would be the appropriate screen and title, pull down menus - whatever, from the Mailerlite website! Sadly, I would not recommend this course for the reasons given above.

It was a little outdated.

The information is good and the instructor explains it very well, however unfortunately there are changes to the MailerLite platform and I got lost attempting to find where the instructor was talking about and left half way through.

I found this course easy to follow and understand but I would like to have see a few more real examples and I was a little disappointed that we were not shown how to integrate Shopify with Mailerlite. Otherwise as an overview for beginners, I learned the basic grounding so I can get started.
