I learned a lot of great tips about ad design and formats, and I think I now understand how to upload the image or video and set up the ad. When the topics got more technical I started getting lost (esp. that last part about "conversion API"... no idea what that is). I want to run some ads for my nonprofit, but I don't control our website, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to track how successful the ads are. I'll give it a shot though!

Overall, bad course. Pros: - Clear and easily understandable way of talking, good English - At least some useful information at the very end of the course Cons: - Talks too much, says too little. This should be a hands-on course where you show the people what to click, where to click, why to click. Instead, all we are seeing for 99% of the time is his face and him articulating with his hands. When I buy a course like that, I expect the teacher to go through things and explain them. Not just watching a guy sit on his chair speaking to the camera. We're not at the university listening to a professor talk for hours and hours on end - Endless repetition of the same basic stuff. For example: You should direct your audience from the ad creative to a corresponding page on your website. Well, isn't that common sense that I don't redirect potential customers from an ad for dog kennels to cat food? And even if it isn't, why do you have to repeat this 5 or 6 times, when 1 is already enough? - No clear explanation of important concepts. The way I see it, Meta works similarly to Google Ads, where you first have to create a campaign, then the ad group and then finally, you upload your actual ads. But none of this was explained to me and I had to play around with this thing myself to get a basic understanding of what is going on there. Another thing: When and for what do I create custom audiences and custom conversions, what's exactly the point of this API he was talking about at the very end? He said something very vague and I still didn't understand anything - No clear concept of a course in general. Just a bunch of random videos with either no real added value or with very little of it. Like I said, 99% of videos just him sitting and talking at the camera speaking a lot and saying nothing. Just a quick and hasty approach to make some money. At least, there was some info at the end and after section 2 I was almost ready to stop watching. You can basically take section 1 and 2 and throw them out of the window. Only section 3 has some info, but even that is pretty basic and poor. Either way, I will return the course as it's not worth the time or the money. This stuff may be fine for a short Youtube video, but not for a paid Udemy course. I do NOT recommend it.
