Introduction 

  • The Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Safety Management) Regulation was approved by the Legislative Council in November 1999 and came into effect in 2002. It requires proprietors and contractors with over 50 workers in construction sites, shipyards, factories and designated industrial undertakings to manage safety and health through the establishment and implementation of safety management system that have to be assessed regularly by safety audits or safety reviews. 

Who should attend 

  • Individuals seeking to gain knowledge about the requirements of the core elements under F&IU (Safety Management) regulation 

  • Individuals who are required to act as auditee representatives or auditees in the organizations 

Delivery methods 

  • Presentation and workgroup discussion 

Certificate of attendance 

  • Certificate of Attendance will be issued to those participants who have attended at least 90% of the course hours 

  • To provide a more comprehensive certificate service, please fill in the participant’s name according too the identification document (as standard) when submitting the application form.
