Course Overview
How a BIM Project runs from 0-100?
The sky become clearer as the government offer a clearer standard for us to follow, such as CIC BIM Standard (2015), many public and private sector would like to follow this document as the deliverable standard. On the other hand, Building Department GBP submission requirement is an essential and existing requirement for us to use Revit comply with its requirement. All we need is adopt these standards in our project, and keep an expandable BIM model, that’s comply with architectural design job scope.
This course complies with the syllabus of CIC BIM Manager Course term 3: BIM Process. It describes in detail that how a BIM manager should run and proceed necessary action from BIM Strategic to operation and maintenance stage. You will learn to draft those BIM Management document such as EIR, AIR PXP, create and maintain project templates, conduct meetings for coordination and skills to migrate model data to handover stage.
There is a hands-on, real life exercise for student to run a BIM project with a GBP submission requirement. You will get solid skills to run your BIM project comply with CIC BIM standard, PAS1192:2 and related ordinance, PNAP requirement.
After course completion, you can:
- Fully understand the practice of CIC BIM Standard (Phase1)
- Use suitable Revit tools to control required BIM Approach
- Create and optimize Revit template to corresponding standard requirements.
- How to use BIM to run a GBP submission project
