Course Overview
The Master of Public Management (MPM) Program prepares students for senior management roles in organizations providing public services or having frequent interactions with the public sector. By equipping them with the skills and knowledge to cope with the increasingly dynamic and complex challenges of the public sector, they would develop managerial capacities, such as the analytical skills, managerial competence, and political acumen, that are essential for successful career in public sector organizations. Given the importance of technology innovation and sustainability, the program provides the students with an interdisciplinary study with a strong emphasis on the policy, management and governance issues concerning technological innovation and sustainability.
To qualify for admission, applicants must meet all of the following requirements. Admission is selective and meeting these minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.
1. General Admission Requirements of the UniversityApplicants seeking admission to a master's degree program should have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution, or an approved equivalent qualification.
2. English Language Admission Requirements
Applicants have to fulfill English Language requirements with one of the following proficiency attainments:
TOEFL-pBT: 550
TOEFL-Revised paper-delivered test: 60 (total scores for Reading, Listening and Writing sections)IELTS (Academic Module): Overall score: 6.5 and All sub-score: 5.5
* refers to the total score in one single attempt
Applicants are not required to present TOEFL or IELTS score if
they obtained the bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an institution where the medium of instruction was English.
3. Program-specific Admission RequirementsAt least 3 years of working experience.
4. Additional Information
Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field with strong academic performance, especially in analytical courses.
