Programme Entrance Requirements
Applicants should fulfil the University Entrance Requirements and should possess a Bachelor's degree with First or Second Class Honours (or equivalent GPA) in Science, Engineering or a related subject.
What You’ll Learn
Engineering Geology Theme (1 year full-time or 2 years part-time)
This option aims to help engineering geologists improve their performance in professional work. Engineers and scientists wanting to advance their understanding of geology and geotechnics are also invited to apply for admission. The theme concentrates on the application of geology and mechanics in geotechnical practice and the development of professional skills.
Engineering Geology with HKIE Approved Courses Theme (1 year full-time or 2 years part-time)
This option aims to help engineering geologists improve their performance in professional work. All courses are approved by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.
Mode of Attendance
Full Time (one year, including daytime, evening and occasional meetings scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays for field trips and site visits)
Part Time (two years, including evening and occasional meetings scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays for field trips and site visits)
