Course Overview

This course will give you a clear understanding of the main styles / types / key factors affecting flavours & aromas of Sake. You will follow WSET’s renowned Systematic Approach to Tasting to explore these characters in a systematic way. An internationally recognised qualification with certificate and lapel pin will be awarded upon passing the straightforward exam.

Students will also gain insight into Sake and food pairing techniques. As Japan has a food-rich culture, it's no surprise that Sake goes well with many types of food. Our upgraded WSET Level 1 Award in Sake class will guide you through Sake pairing with a range of selected food and snacks -- to learn the key principle of Sake and food pairing by experiencing them yourself!
