Course Overview
Overview
The Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) jointly offers a top-up degree programme with the University of Greenwich. This bachelor degree programme aims not only to prepare students in strengthening their business and management knowledge, but also to develop their analytical skills. This Greenwich bachelor degree programme is tailored specially for holders of Associate Degree, Higher Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Professional Diploma, etc.
The Programme is an innovative new degree with a curriculum that focuses directly on the practice of management. It develops knowledge and skills which are of immediate use to you as students and to employers in a practical business environment. The design of the programme is in response to listening to groups of employers who told us they want to recruit people who have high levels of practical skills and to students who say they want to be better equipped to get jobs. All learning on the programme is underpinned by academic research.
The University recognises the wide range of learning styles within courses which emphasise skills alongside more traditional courses emphasising theory. However, in essence your degree remains a general management degree aimed at future managers. This new and exciting degree programme has kept the strengths of traditional business degree programmes but introduces new and exciting developments in the world of business. The full degree comprises 360 credits for 3 years. The Hong Kong programme consists of 120 credits of the degree offering students with appropriate academic and professional achievements entry with advanced standing status.
