Course Overview
The Doctor of Psychology in the field of Clinical Psychology [PsyD(Clinical Psychology)] programme aims to train professional leaders in the field through the integration of research, coursework and clinical specialty training. Graduates are expected to become clinical specialists, bridging applied research findings with evidence-based clinical practice, as well as leading the developments of clinical services and research in the profession.
What You’ll Learn
Programme Entrance Requirements
1. A Master of Social Sciences in Clinical Psychology degree or an equivalent qualification;
2. Candidates shall be eligible for membership in the Hong Kong Psychological Society, Division of Clinical Psychology, or in the Hong Kong Institute of Clinical Psychologists;
3. Candidates shall preferably have working experience in the field of Clinical Psychology; and
4. Candidates shall satisfy the examiners in a qualifying examination, if required.
