Programme Features
- You will acquire the knowledge and ability to contribute effectively to project and facility management teams in complex building projects
- You will be equipped with the latest knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies to facilitate your career development in BIM coordination and management
- You will be prepared to work in the construction industry where there will be ample job opportunities, given the government’s efforts to increase housing and land supply (according to the 2020 Policy Address)
- You may become a highly competent and professional building engineer in Hong Kong, the Chinese mainland and the international market
Professional Recognition
- The Programme is fully accredited by The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)* and the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers (HKICM).
- The Programme is also accredited by The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE). Students are eligible to apply to HKIE as Student Members. - * The programme is a CIOB accredited course, having been judged to meet the CIOB Education Framework. Prospective members holding this qualification will have full academic exemption and once they have gained three to five years' relevant work experience, they may enter CIOB membership as an applicant to progress towards Chartered Membership without the requirement for an Individual Assessment.
