Programme Features
To provide students with a broad and enriched learning experience in the dispensing of medicine and related pharmaceuticals and to enhance the intellectual and personal developments of students;
Students will need to complete at least 200 hours onsite training. Students have been arranged to complete their externship in pharmacies under the Hospital Authority, pharmacies of private hospitals, elderly homes and/ or community pharmacies;
Duration
2-Year full-time or 3-year part-time
Education and Career Pathways
Graduates may be employed as dispensers in Hospital Authority hospitals, private hospitals, other healthcare institutions and residential care home etc. They also enjoy a range of career options working in healthcare organizations and pharmaceutical industry.
Graduates may further study in health-related bachelor programmes including but not limited to:
Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) (Part-time Top-up degree), Saint Francis University (SFU)
Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) (with or without Senior Year entry), SFU and various institutes
Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy, SFU and various institutes
Our graduates are also recognized by overseas degree programmes for credit exemption which include:
Bachelor of Pharmacy, University of South Australia, Australia
