Programme Feature
- This Programme has been selected for the second round of the Pilot Project on the Development of Applied Degree Programmes to nurture talent with applied skills to meet the keen manpower demand of the tourism and hospitality sector.
- The Programme enables students to acquire up-to-date practical knowledge and skills through a range of courses focused on hotel operations, tourism and events management, smart technology applications, and sustainable environmental management for the hotel and tourism industry.
- Application-oriented - Students put theory into practice through various types of experiential learning.
- Substantial internship - Students complete a 9-month internship before graduation.
- Flexible admission - Relevant work experience will be considered.
Programme Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Programme, students should be able to:
- Integrate and apply a broad range of knowledge with an awareness of social impacts on daily hotel and tourism operations;
- Analyse various management issues and formulate plans for enhancing hotel and tourism businesses with an awareness of “smart” technology applied in the hospitality and tourism industry;
- Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to decision-making and management in the hospitality and tourism industry;
