Course Overview
Description
This is an intensive 1-day introduction training course aiming to provide delegates with basic understanding in applying information management using Building Information Modelling (BIM) according to ISO 19650 Information Management Parts 1, 2 and 5 standards (herewith “ISO 19650 standards”) in design and construction projects, and the benefits in implementing ISO 19650 standards throughout the project life-cycle.
Objectives
Upon completing this one-day training course, the participants will know:
- how to manage and collaborate the information of a design and construction project using BIM
- how to apply Process Approach, Security-minded Approach, Effective Information Exchange and Life-cycle Thinking in the Information Management for BIM projects
- how to set up and deliver a BIM project as per ISO 19650 standards.Upon completing this one-day training course, the participants will know:

REMARKS
This course does not cover interpretation of ISO 27001:2022 requirements. Delegates who are not familiar with the requirements should attend (ITFTC) Information Security Management System Series: ISO 27001:2022 – Standard Interpretation and Requirement Training Course first.
