(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: 1. Assignments (60%) 2. Examination (40%) (B) Completion Requirements: 1. At least 50% of overall passing mark (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: 1. At least 50% of overall passing mark 2. At least 70% of the total contact hours

Entry Requirement / 入學要求
A) 1. Applicants who have successfully completed a higher diploma in Mechanical Engineering awarded by a Hong Kong Government recognised institute (or equivalent institution) as approved by RMIT. OR 2. Applicants with other equivalent qualifications may be considered on a case-by-case basis by RMIT University. AND B) Applicants are required to satisfy one of the following English language entry criteria: 1. IELTS 6.5 with no band lower than 6.0; or 2. TOEFL (Internet Based Test – IBT): minimum overall score of 79 (with minimum of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking and 21 in Writing): or 3. HKDSE score of 4 or more in English Language; or 4. Successful completion of at least the equivalent of a two-year tertiary programme of at least AQF level 5 within the past five years where English is the language of instruction and assessment; or 5. Other equivalent qualifications as listed on the RMIT website. As VTC HD programs are equivalent to AQF level 5, and taught and assessed in English medium, graduates from VTC HD are considered to have met the English requirement.

Appointment Criteria: (A) Master’s Degree and/or equivalent professional qualification (B) A minimum of 4 years’ relevant teaching/working experience On an exception basis, teaching staff who do not fully meet the above appointment criteria will only be appointed with justifications supporting the candidates’ capability to teach the module.
