I'm still having to sort through a lot of basic Microsoft Office information before getting to a substantial piece of information. You should think about starting on the premise that someone already understands the Microsoft Office.

This instructor is woefully incompetent and has difficulty in explaining the details of Access. He would rather spend more time on what the Ribbon is for than why a certain relationship exists between two tables, or what Referential Integrity is. I am not even going to bother printing my certificate for this course, unless I run out of toilet paper.

This is clearly the first few lectures from a much bigger package. The instructor, who appears to be knowledgeable, often says that he will cover more on a topic later, but he doesn't. The lectures were split between this and one or more other courses, and what this course covers is a very basic introduction to Access. As I'm already familiar with Access and was hoping for an introduction to more features, the course was of little value. Just to clarify, I don't need to listen to a video that tells me I can use the scroll bar to scroll down a list of templates. I know how the scroll bar works. I got through this course at 2x the speed and clicking the forward 15 seconds button.

I knew nothing of access when I began this course, so the first portion of this course has been helpful for me to become familiar with many of the functions of access.
