Every online store requires a decent design, structure and efficient navigation system which is why you will learn about the different types of WordPress themes you could use to design your online store.
We will cover a very important aspect of E-Commerce - the processing of payments and refunds. You will learn how to install and setup different payment systems in your store such as PayPal and Stripe payments. You will learn about 'sandbox' environments that would allow you to test the entire transaction process on your website without using any actual money.
We will also cover how to manage orders, refunds, coupons and customer accounts as well.
One of the most advantageous features of WooCommerce is the ability to extend its functionality and design by numerous plugins available. We will round up part 1 by analyzing a few of these plugins and see how they can be used to improve the overall functionality of your e-commerce store.
We will cover how to use the following plugins:

Overall, the course was worth my time. However, it had a couple of major shortcomings for me. Section 2 featuring the EDD plugin was badly outdated. Many of the settings and options just aren't the same as they were in 2017 and this section of the course could use a refresh. Section 3 (the dropshipping section) was pretty good, HOWEVER it should be advertised in the description of the course that the plugins to DO the course will cost you $89 each, if you want to follow along and do as the instructor does as he teaches the course. I learn by doing and i wanted to follow step-by-step, but i ended up simply passively watching this section of the course. So, that was a bit of a waste for me as well. I thought Alexander the instructor was pretty good overall and i got a lot out of the first section of the course in particular. However, had i known of the course's shortcomings, i likely would have selected a different WooCommerce course that was a bit shorter and more to the point.

You know, I believe there is something to this ecommerce thing. I have actually thought that for a while but was too afraid to get into because I am not into coding. But constantly being surrounded by all this opportunity prompted me to start digging. And honestly, I found a lot of gurus. Fortunately, I don't easily part with my coin. My researches led me this course with a goal of determining if I could build a site. After watching it I feel like I could replicate what was learned, probably with some tweaks. I think the problem would be that I couldn’t troubleshoot it if something went wrong. I also learned about what is sure to be some really helpful plugins going forward; and in general how to install wordpress on a site and navigate the admin interface. The instructor did a very good job. There were a few things through out that course, missing files etc. that kinda made it hard to follow in certain spots. But he is a good teacher, very personable and knowledgeable; and I understand that this type thing is a big undertaking to put together organize and maintain. Why else would books need an Errata… On the whole if I had to give him a grade, I’d say 98%.
