About the Course
This workshop will provide tools, skills, and strategies for building resilience and cognitive agility, “Psychological Hardiness,” and a growth mindset for individuals and teams.
Course Objective
Identifying stress smoke signals as early warning signals for problem-solving
Learning the four keys of “Psychological Hardiness for surviving and thriving during a major transition
Mastering the Six “R”s and a growth mindset for transforming burnout
The Eight “F”s for harnessing loss, grief, and change
Boosting energy and energizing and expanding effective presence through the “Passion Power” Model
Using self-affirming humor as a resilience tool in the face of stress and embarrassment
Running open, “Helmet’s Off,” “Hi-Tech, and Human Touch” teams for building group resilience
Who is the Target Audience?
This training is for anyone realizing that in times of rapid change and uncertainty personal resilience and healing/harmonizing humor in the face of stress, loss, and change certainly influence productivity and emotional well-being. In addition, these stress resilience resources and strategies impact our capacity to empathize, connect, and productively partner with others. Both personal and interpersonal dynamics impact the productive, supportive, and collaborative potential of work groups and teams.
Basic Knowledge
No prerequisites. Just interested in becoming more stress resilient, burnout resistant, more adaptive in dealing with loss and change, learning to reach out for support while being more self-accepting, and tools and tactics for running more open, resilient, and effective teams.
