Description
“Salesforce Essentials for Beginners” is a hands-on introduction to the Salesforce platform designed for individuals new to CRM systems. You’ll explore Salesforce’s Lightning Experience, learn how core objects work (Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities), and follow a basic sales workflow from lead capture through opportunity management. You’ll also learn how to create reports and dashboards to visualize data, manage tasks and activities, and understand foundational security concepts. By the end, you’ll be able to navigate Salesforce with confidence and perform essential tasks in a real business environment.
Course Objectives
Explain what a CRM is and Salesforce’s role in the sales technology ecosystem. Navigate the Salesforce Lightning interface, including key components and actions. Understand and work with core Salesforce objects: Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities. Execute a basic Lead Opportunity workflow, including lead conversion. Create and customize List Views, Reports, and Dashboards. Import small datasets using the Data Import Wizard and apply basic data quality practices. Understand simple security concepts such as roles, profiles, ownership, and sharing. Recognize introductory automation options and when to extend Salesforce using AppExchange.
