(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Mathematics for Engineering Survey (Assignment (20%) + Test (20%) + Exam (60%)) (2) Land Surveying Theory (Test (25%) + Assignment (25%) + Exam (50%)) (3) Engineering Survey Practice (Test (20%) + Assignment (15%) + Project (15%) + Exam (50%)) (4) Cartography (Test (20%) + Assignment (30%) + Exam (50%)) (5) Mapping and Plotting (Test (25%) + Assignment (25%) + Exam (50%)) (6) Practical Surveying (Test (40%) + Workshop (60%)) (7) Field Camp (Assignment (40%) + Project Report and Presentation (60%)) (B) Completion Requirements: (1) Satisfy the minimum attendance requirement of 70% for each module and (2) Overall passing mark of 40% or above for each module. (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Satisfy the minimum attendance requirement of 70% for each module and (2) Overall passing mark of 50% or above for each module.

Entry Requirement / 入學要求
(a) Completion of S6 under the new academic structure / S5 under the old academic structure, or equivalent, and with one year’s working experience; or (b) Other relevant verifiable prior learning and with two years’ working experience that are deemed appropriate by the Construction Programme Board and a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form; or (c) Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above with at least two years’ relevant working experience, may be admitted. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form.
