(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Assignment (50%) (2) Examination (50%) (B) Completion Requirements: (1) Module mark at least 40%, with at least 35% on each of the assessments (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) At least 50% of overall mark; AND (2) Attain a minimum attendance rate of overall 70% of the total contact hours
Entry Requirement / 入學要求
(a) Graduates from Relevant VTC Higher Diploma (HD) Programmes or Equivalent: (i) Accreditation of Prior Learning Graduates from the following VTC feeder programmes: - HD in Building Services Engineering (ii) English Language Entry Requirements For applicants where English is not their first language or where English is not the language of instruction and assessment of their diploma/degree, a score of at least 6.0 on IELTS, or equivalent, is required. (VTC’s HD graduates are exempted from the English language requirement.) (b) Non-feeder / Special / Alternative Admission Requirements and Arrangements: Applicants holding equivalent qualifications (in terms of relevant credits and competency) will be considered on a case- by-case basis according to University of Lancashire’s admission policy. For applicants where English is not their first language or where English is not the language of instruction and assessment of their diploma/degree, a score of at least 6.0 on IELTS (or equivalent) is required. (VTC’s graduates are exempted from English language requirement.)
