(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (I) MPR2865 Fundamental Knowledge of Retailing 零售業基礎知識 (a) 持續評估 Continuous Assessment (50%): (1) 習作1 Assignment 1 (25%) ; (2) 習作2 Assignment 2 (25%) (b) 期末評核 End-of-Module Assessment (50%): (1) 考試 Examination (50%) (II) MPR2866 Interpersonal Relationship and Customer Service 人際關係及顧客服務 (a) 持續評估 Continuous Assessment (100%): (1) 測驗 Test (50%) ; (2) 角色扮演 Role Play (50%) (III) MPR2867 Employability Skills (Retail Industry) 就業能力技巧(零售業) (a) 持續評估 Continuous Assessment (100%): (1) 習作 Assignment (50%) ; (2) 測驗 Test (50%) (B) Completion Requirements: (1) 50% or above of overall passing mark in total (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) 50% or above of overall passing mark in total (2) The minimum attendance requirement for an individual programme/module is 70% of the maximum possible attendance, where maximum possible attendance includes normal class attendance only.
Entry Requirement / 入學要求
The applicants should possess: (1) One year working experience in Retail industry; or currently employed in Retail industry; and (2) Completion of Secondary 3; or (3) Completion of a QF Level 1 programme that is deemed acceptable to the Marketing and Promotion Programme Board; or (4) Relevant Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) qualification(s) at QF Level 1 AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form; or (5) Other relevant verifiable prior learning and/or work experience that is/are deemed appropriate by the Marketing and Promotion Programme Board AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form. [Mature Applicants: Applicants who are aged 21 or above on 1 September of the year of application and do not meet the minimum entrance requirements may apply through the mature applicant route. Applicants choosing to apply through this route must demonstrate sufficient motivation, knowledge and potential to indicate a higher probability of being able to complete the programme successfully. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form.]
Instructor's Qualifications / 導師資歷
(1) A recognized degree in Retail Management, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; (2) At least 3 years’ teaching / working experience at tertiary level in Hong Kong or relevant industry experience; (3) Good communication and presentation skills, and writing skills in both in English and Chinese; (4) Preference will be given to candidates with solid experience in teaching programmes in digital marketing
