(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Presentation: 30% (2) Portfolio: 70% (B) Course Completion Requirements: (1) Overall passing mark: 40% (2) Passing mark for each assessment item / module: (i) Presentation: 40% (ii) Portfolio: 40% (3) Attendance requirement: 0% (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Attendance Requirement: 70% (2) Overall passing mark: 50%
Entry Requirement / 入學要求
(1) All applicants should have at least an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with 5.5 in each component OR an overall IELTS score of 6.0 with 6.0 in each component, OR equivalent. (2) Entry to the top-up programme is based on accredited prior learning achieved through the successful completion of a relevant post secondary qualification (such as Higher Diploma and Associate Degree awarded by educational institutions in Hong Kong). Providing the post secondary programme has been taught and assessed in English, applicants holding such an award will be considered to meet the English language requirements for entry to the top-up programme in Hong Kong. (3) For applicants who opt to undertake the “Audio Technology” (AT) pathway, they are required to pass an audition as an additional requirement, except they have already passed the Grade 8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Practical Examination or equivalent.
