(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Content1*: Foundations of Play Therapy – Test: 20% (2) Content1*: Foundations of Play Therapy – Assignment: 80% (3) Content2*: Family Play Therapy – Assignment: 60% (4) Content2*: Family Play Therapy – Project: 40% (5) Content3*: Specific Intervention Strategies in Play Therapy – Assignment: 60% (6) Content3*: Specific Intervention Strategies in Play Therapy - Project: 40% (7) Content4*: Sandplay with Special Populations – Assignment: 60% (8) Content4*: Sandplay with Special Populations - Project: 40% (9) Content5*: Attachment-Based Play Therapy – Assignment: 60% (10) Content5*: Attachment-Based Play Therapy - Project: 40% (B) Course Completion Requirements: (1) Pass Mark: At least 40% or above of each module (40 marks) (2) Attendance: At least 70% or above of the total contact hours of each module (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Pass Mark: At least 50% or above of the overall marks of the programme (50 marks) albeit that the pass marks of each module is 40%. (2) Attendance: At least 70% or above of the total contact hours of each module

Entry Requirement / 入學要求
(1) Hold a relevant Higher Diploma or above in child education, social work, or other related disciplines; and (2) Have relevant working experience, or are currently employed in the field of child education, social work, or other related fields; and (3) Applicants should hold a Certificate in Early Childhood Education [C(ECE)] as recognized by the Education Bureau, registered as Qualified Kindergarten Teachers or Child Care Workers, registered as Social Worker, or registered with professional bodies in other related fields; and (4) Pass an admission interview.

Instructor's Qualifications / 導師資歷
(a) A relevant recognized degree or professional qualification, preferably with post-graduate qualification; (b) At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industrial experience; preferably in the field of Physiotherapist/ occupational therapy/ teaching Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) children/ teaching children with special educational needs (SEN)/ children’s art education/ school-based curriculum/ children play/ play therapy/ Information Technology; (c) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and (d) Proven records of connection with the industry or professional bodies would be an advantage.
