(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Content1*: Dynamics in Parent-Child Relationship – Assignment: 40% (2) Content1*: Dynamics in Parent-Child Relationship – Project: 60% (3) Content2*: Strategic Child Nurturing – Assignment: 40% (4) Content2*: Strategic Child Nurturing - Project: 60% (5) Content3*: Family and Social Culture – Assignment: 40% (6) Content3*: Family and Social Culture - Project: 60% (B) Course Completion Requirements: (1) Pass Mark: At least 40% or above of each module (40 marks) (2) Attendance: At least 70% or above of the total contact hours of each module (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Pass Mark: At least 50% or above of the overall marks of the programme (50 marks) albeit that the pass marks of each module is 40%. (2) Attendance: At least 70% or above of the total contact hours of each module

Entry Requirement / 入學要求
(A) A1. The general minimum entry requirements of in-service applicants for Professional Certificate for Parent Education Facilitators should normally be as follows: (a) Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent; or (b) Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E/Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent ; or (c) Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board; or (d) Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 3 or above AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written; or (e) Other relevant verifiable prior learning and/or work experience that is/are deemed appropriate by respective Programme Board AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written. and A2. Besides the minimum entry requirements aforementioned, in-service applicants are required: (a) With at least 1 year of relevant working experience; or (b) Currently employed in the field of child education OR (B) Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above with at least two years’ relevant working experience, can be admitted. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form.

Instructor's Qualifications / 導師資歷
(a) A relevant recognized degree or professional qualification, preferably with post-graduate qualification; (b) At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industrial experience; preferably in the field of Physiotherapist/ occupational therapy/ teaching Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) children/ teaching children with special educational needs (SEN)/ children’s art education/ school-based curriculum/ children play/ play therapy/ Information Technology; (c) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and (d) Proven records of connection with the industry or professional bodies would be an advantage.
