(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Content1*: Continuous Assessment (CA): 50% (2) Content1*: End-of-Module Assessment (EA): 50% (3) Content2*: Continuous Assessment (CA): 100% (4) Content3*: Continuous Assessment (CA): 50% (5) Content3*: End-of-Module Assessment (EA): 50% (B) Course Completion Requirements: (1) Overall passing mark: 40% (2) Passing mark for each assessment item / module: (i) Foundation Engineering Mathematics: 40% (ii) Vocational English: Presenting Simple Information and Ideas in Writing: 40% (iii) Introduction to Electrical Engineering and Safety: 40% (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Overall passing mark of 50% or above for each module. (2) Satisfy the minimum attendance requirement of 70% for each module.
Entry Requirement / 入學要求
(1) Completion of S3, or equivalent with 1-year working experience; (2) Completion of a QF Level 1 programme that is deemed acceptable to Programme Board with 2-year working experience; (3) Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above with at least two years’ relevant work experience, may also be accepted. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form.
Instructor's Qualifications / 導師資歷
(1) A relevant recognized degree, or equivalent; and (2) 3 years' relevant experience.
