(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings︰ (1) Statutory Requirements and Procedures of Plumbing Works in Hong Kong (CA:EA, 30%:70%) (2) Project Management in Plumbing Services (CA:EA, 30%:70%) (3) Plumbing Practical (CA:EA, 0%:100%) (B) Course Completion Requirements︰ (1) Overall passing mark: 40% (2) Passing mark for each assessment item / module: (i) Statutory Requirements and Procedures of Plumbing Works in Hong Kong: 40% (EA:40%) (ii) Project Management in Plumbing Services: 40% (EA: 40%) (iii) Plumbing Practical:40% (EA: 40%) (3) Attendance requirement: 70% (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements : (1) Attendance Requirement: 70% (for each module) (2) Overall passing mark: 50% (for each module)
Entry Requirement / 入學要求
Four years’ relevant work experience (Plumbing) plus any one Academic Qualifications as below: (1) Professional Diploma in Plumbing Engineering (QF Level 4) that is provided by the Vocational Training Council (VTC) in academic year 2020/21 or after, the issue date of which is within 5 years before the date of application; or (2) Diploma in Plumbing Engineering issued by the VTC, the issue date of which is within 5 years before the date of application; or (3) Certificate in Plumbing and Pipefitting issued by the VTC, the issue date of which is within 5 years before the date of application; or (4) Certificate in ''Refresher Course on Plumbing and Pipefitting'' issued by the VTC, the issue date of which is within 5 years before the date of application; or (5) Other 『equivalent qualification』, please refer to the WSD website.
Instructor's Qualifications / 導師資歷
(1) A relevant recognized degree, or equivalent and 3 years' relevant experience; OR (2) A relevant recognised Higher Diploma, or equivalent, with 3 years’ relevant experience and pass in a trade test; OR (3) 8 years of experience in relevant industry and/or teaching and pass in a trade test.
