(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Introduction to Aviation (Test (20%) + Lab/Project (30%) + Exam (50%)) (2) Introduction to Aircraft (Test (20%) + Lab/Project (30%) + Exam (50%)) (3) Airport and Airline Operations (Assignment (30%) + Presentation / Role Play / Poster Design (20%) + Exam (50%)) (4) Aircraft Systems (Test (20%) + Lab/Project (30%) + Exam (50%)) (5) Managing the Engineering Environment (Test (20%) + Lab/Project (30%) + Exam (50%)) (6) Introduction to Air Cargo Operations (Lab/Project (30%) + Presentation / Role Play / Poster Design (20%) + Exam (50%)) (7) Ramp and Ground Handling Operations (Test (30%) + Presentation / Role Play / Poster Design (20%) + Exam (50%)) (8) Human factors in Aviation (Lab (30%) + Assignment (20%) + Exam (50%)) (B) Completion Requirements: (1) Overall passing mark of 40% or above for each module. (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Satisfy the minimum attendance requirement of 70% for each module and (2) Overall passing mark of 50% or above for each module.
Entry Requirement / 入學要求
(1) Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent, with one year’s relevant work experience; or (2) Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E/Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent, with two years’ relevant work experience; or (3) Hold a QF Level 3 qualification or equivalent with breadth comparable to the HKDSE or HKCEE levels, with one year’s relevant work experience or currently employed; or (4) Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 3 (5) Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above with at least two years’ relevant work experience, may also be accepted. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form.
Instructor's Qualifications / 導師資歷
A relevant recognized degree, or equivalent; and 3 years' relevant experience.
