(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Architectural Planning and Building Technology (Assignment (50%) + Exam (50%)) (2) Fundamental Services In Buildings (Assignment (20%) + Test (20%) + Exam (60%)) (3) Construction Management (Assignment (50%) + Exam (50%)) (4) Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation Systems and Installations (Assignment (20%) + Lab/report (20%) + Exam (60%)) (5) Electrical Services and Installations (Assignment (30%) + Lab/report (20%) + Exam (50%)) (6) Piped Services and Installations (Assignment (30%) + Lab/report (20%) + Exam (50%)) (7) Specialized Systems (Assignment (20%) + Lab/report (20%) + Exam (60%)) (8) Sustainable Technology and Energy Management (Assignment (20%) + Lab/report (20%) + Exam (60%)) (9) Fire Safety Protection System (Assignment (40%) + Exam (60%)) (B) Completion Requirements: (1) Overall passing mark of 40% or above for each module. (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Satisfy the minimum attendance requirement of 70% for each module and (2) Overall passing mark of 50% or above for each module.
Entry Requirement / 入學要求
(1) 5 HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent, with 1 year’s work experience; or (2) 5 HKCEE subjects at Grade E/Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent, with 2 years’ work experience; or (3) Completion of a QF Level 3 programme, or equivalent, with 1 year’s work experience or currently employed; or (4) Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 3 or above AND pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form; or (5) Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above with at least 2 years’ relevant work experience, may also be accepted. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form.
Instructor's Qualifications / 導師資歷
A relevant recognized degree, or equivalent; and 3 years' relevant experience.
