(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Pipe Work Installation (Assignment (50%) + Exam (50%)) (2) Drawing for Plumbing & Pipefitting (Assignment (100%)) (3) Portable Water & Hot Water Supply (Assignment (50%) + Exam (50%)) (4) Flush Water Supplies & Drainage System (Assignment (50%) + Exam (50%)) (5) Building Construction and Measurement (Assignment (50%) + Exam (50%)) (6) Fire Services (Plumbing and Pipefitting) (Assignment (50%) + Exam (50%)) (7) Safety in Workplace (Plumbing and Pipefitting) (Assignment (50%) + Exam (50%)) (8) Plumbing and Pipefitting Practice I- Pipe Work (Workshop (50%) + Skill Test (50%)) (9) Plumbing and Pipefitting Practice II- Potable and Flush Water Supply (Workshop (50%) + Skill Test (50%)) (10) Plumbing and Pipefitting Practice III – Hot Water Supply (Workshop (50%) + Skill Test (50%)) (11) Plumbing and Pipefitting Practice IV – Sanitary Fitments & Drainage (Workshop (50%) + Skill Test (50%)) (12) Plumbing and Pipefitting Practice V – Fire Services (Workshop (50%) + Skill Test (50%)) (B) Completion Requirements: (1) Satisfy the minimum attendance requirement of 70% for each module and (2) Overall passing mark of 40% or above for each module. (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Satisfy the minimum attendance requirement of 70% for each module and (2) Overall passing mark of 50% or above for each module.

Entry Requirement / 入學要求
(1) Qualifications in Plumbing Mathematics, Plumbing Science and Construction Drawing, or equivalent, that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Team, such as: (a) Grade E or above in HKCEE Mathematics / Level 2 or above in HKDSE Mathematics; (b) Grade E or above in HKCEE Physics / Level 2 or above in HKDSE Physics; (c) Grade E or above in HKCEE Technical Drawing. (2) Plus, any one of the following qualifications: (a) Completion of S6 under the new academic structure / S5 under the old academic structure and with one year relevant working experience; or (b) Completion of a QF Level 2 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board and with one year relevant working experience; or (c) Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 2 or above AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written and with one year relevant working experience. [Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above with at least two years’ relevant working experience, may be admitted. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form. Plus, fulfilling the qualifications in mathematics, science and drawing stated above by completing the bridging modules, Plumbing Mathematics (1735), Plumbing Science (1736) and Construction Drawing (1737).]

Instructor's Qualifications / 導師資歷
(I) For modules Plumbing and Pipefitting Practice I to V: (1)(a) A relevant recognized degree, or equivalent; and (b) 3 years' relevant experience Or (2)(a) A relevant recognized Higher Diploma or equivalent; or possessing 8 years’ work or teaching experience in the relevant industry; (b) At least 3 years’ relevant work experience; and ability to pass a trade test. (II) For other modules: (1) A relevant recognized degree, or equivalent; and (2) 3 years' relevant experience
