Entry Requirement / 入學要求
Applicants should: (1) have Level 2 in five subjects in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination including Chinese Language and English Language, or equivalent; or (2) have passed in one A Level or two AS Level plus five passes in HKCEE including Level 2 / Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language, or equivalent; or (3) be a graduate of the Diploma Programme in Special Educational Needs offered by CUSCS or equivalent; or (4) be aged 21 with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.

Instructor's Qualifications / 導師資歷
Qualified teaching staff with higher degrees or professional qualifications in related fields will be recruited to teach each module.

What You’ll Learn

(1) Identification and Assessment of Developmental Needs of Students with Special Educational Needs (30 hours) (2) Strategies for Supporting Students with Special Educational Needs Through Music and Expressive Arts (30 hours) (3) Use of Speech Therapy in Multi-intervention Strategies for Students with Special Educational Needs (30 hours) (4) Teaching Strategies for Students with Special Educational Needs in Inclusive Educational Settings (15 hours) (5) Project-based Learning on Practical Skills to Support Students with Special Educational Needs (15 hours) [Remarks: (1) The sequence of module delivery may vary in different intakes. (2) CUSCS exemption policy: A module taken at CUSCS or elsewhere will be recognized as equivalent to a CUSCS module if it is comparable in objectives and learning outcomes as QF Level or academic standard, and provides the student with sufficient knowledge to pursue his/her study at CUSCS. The total no. of hours* exempted should not exceed 50% of the total amount of CUSCS programme studied. *Applicable for part-time programmes.]
