(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Potable Water System and Fire Services Installation for Buildings (Assignment (50%) + Exam (50%)) (2) Drainage and Sewage System Design (Assignment (50%) + Exam (50%)) (3) Fresh Water Cooling System, Swimming Pool System and Fountains Design (Assignment (50%) + Exam (50%)) (4) Contract Administration for Plumbing Engineering (Assignment (50%) + Exam (50%)) (5) Project Management for Plumbing Engineering (Assignment (50%) + Exam (50%)) (6) Testing and Commissioning of Plumbing System, Water Leakage Detection by Non-Destructive Tests and Repair (Assignment (40%) + Workshop (10%) + Exam (50%)) (7) Statutory Requirements and Procedures of Plumbing Works in Hong Kong (Assignment (30%) + Exam (70%)) (8) Mathematics for Plumbing Engineering- Pipe Work (Test (30%) + Assignment (20%) + Exam (50%)) (B) Completion Requirements: (1) Satisfy the minimum attendance requirement of 70% for each module and (2) Overall passing mark of 40% or above for each module. (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Satisfy the minimum attendance requirement of 70% for each module and (2) Overall passing mark of 50% or above for each module.
Entry Requirement / 入學要求
(1) Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E / Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent with two years’ work experience; OR (2) Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent with one year’s work experience. Applicants possessing “Attained” and “Attained with Distinction” performance in an Applied Learning (ApL) programme are deemed to have attained Level 2 and Level 3 respectively in one HKDSE subject; OR (3) Holder of Diploma / Higher Certificate in relevant subject, or equivalent with one year’s work experience; OR (4) Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the respective Programme Board and with one year’s work experience; or (5) Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above with at least three years’ relevant working experience, may be admitted. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form.

A relevant recognized degree, or equivalent; and 3 years' relevant experience.
