(A) Assessment Items and Their Weightings: (1) Implementation of Industry 4.0 (Quiz (20%) + Mini-Project (30%) + Exam (50%)) (2) Cyber Physical System (Quiz (20%) + Mini-Project (30%) + Exam (50%)) (3) Internet of Things (IoT) Applications (Workshop (20%) + Mini-Project (30%) + Exam (50%)) (4) Smart Automation (CA:EA, 50%:50%) (Assignment (20%) + Workshop (30%) + Exam (50%)) (B) Completion Requirements: (1) Overall passing mark of 40% or above for each module. (C) CEF Reimbursement Requirements: (1) Satisfy the minimum attendance requirement of 70% for each module and (2) Overall passing mark of 50% or above for each module.

Entry Requirement / 入學要求
(1) Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent, with one year’s relevant work experience; or (2) Five HKCEE subjects at Grade E/Level 2 or above, including English and Chinese Languages, or equivalent, with two years’ relevant work experience; or (3) Completion of a QF Level 3 programme that is deemed acceptable to the Mechanical & Building Services Engineering Programme Board with one year’s working experience; or (4) Relevant RPL qualification(s) at QF Level 3 or above AND a pass in an entrance assessment, which can be either oral or written; or (5) Mature applicants, i.e. those aged 21 or above, with at least two years’ relevant working experience, may be admitted. Where appropriate, the applicant may be required to pass an entrance assessment, which can be in an oral and/or written form.
